Good Morning,
I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. I am so sorry that I don't have attached photos from school those are coming. My phone is giving me a little trouble thank you for your patience. This week we will have our first ever spelling test. Please help your student by practicing at home each night. If you would like some ideas on different ways to practice please let me know and I will send home a sheet the next day. Thank you for everything you do and for your continued support in your child's education. I hope you have an amazing week!

Reading:
In Reading this week we will be continuing to learn about realistic fiction and introducing informational text. We will also be talking about headings and how they help readers find information. We will also be reviewing the short o sound and talking about simple sentences.
Our essential question that we are going to be exploring this week is How do signs in our neighborhood help us.
Math:
In Math this week we will be continuing to learn about number bonds and how to generate expressions for numbers 1-10. We will also be learning how to solve for the unknown in a story problem. Lastly, we will be working on our counting skills from 1-120.
Religion:
In religion this week we will continue our discussion on how God is love. We will also be talking about how God is 1 in three persons.
