Teachers Notes:
Our class field trip is coming up. If you are able to drive or if your student will need a ride please let me know as soon as possible! This year we will be participating in the Box of Joy! I will be sending home a list of items that can be sent in the box. Thank you for all your help. On Halloween we will be helping to host the Tiger Day celebration. Coming soon will be a signup for helpers, as well as if you are able to donate a door prize or estimation station item. If you have not signed up for parent teacher conferences please sign up as soon as possible. If you lost the link please email me and I will send it as soon as possible. Thank you for all that you do and for your continued support.

Reading:
In Reading this week we will be talking about when to use -ck, -k, and -c. We will also be learning about the life cycle of a sunflower and talking about how plants grow and change as they grow. We will also be learning about simple sentences and informational text.
Math:
In math this week we will be continuing to work on our fluency in adding and subtracting numbers. We will be talking about using number stories and sentences. We will be talking about how to make a simple math drawing when given a math story and how to find the unknown.
Science:
In Science this week we will be talking about the life cycle of a sunflower and how they grow and change. We will also be talking about what plants need to survive.
Religion:
In Religion this week we will be talking about how we are a part of God's creation and the love that he shares with us. We will also be talking about the gift of virtue.
